MERRY CHRISTMAS TARGETEERS
1) Target to download and print: Week 66; Decl/22>Dec/28/2008
Print to full-size on an A4 or 8.5"x11" sheet of paper.
2) Shooting distance is 5m/16.4ft for pistols.
3) Shooting distance is 10m/32.8ft for rifles.
4) Any sighting device may be used.
5) NO rests or steadying aids are allowed.
6) 20 shots at target, 1 per cherry maximum. 5 sighting/practice shots not on the clock using blue.
7) 15 minutes total time (take whatever amount of time for each shot you like, but at 15 minutes-stop!).
8) Scoring is 10 points for cherry, 3 points for green and no points for white. Only one hit per cherry counts. Maximum point count is 200.
9) Entries need to be scanned or photographed and posted. Please list gun, pellet, sighting device and total time expended.
10) You can enter using both a pistol and a rifle as separate entries- but all rules must be followed for each.
11) Score your own target. Winner and Runner-Up will be verified by board officials.
12) An honorable contest for sport- to lie or cheat, is the only real loser. Please keep it above-board!
13) Each competition runs from Monday to Sunday. Your entry must be posted in the forum no later than 23:00 GMT Sunday.
14) These rules are for this week's shooting competition and may change for others. |

Oatring 200/200 Walther LG300XT Match Diablo 4 min 40 sec
Well, I saw this target and started to read the scoring rules.
Nearly fell out of my chair when I saw it was just hits in the
red. Well, this should be easy, so I shot as quick as I dared
(thinking maybe time would be used to break ties. HINT!)
Almost lost two out the side. Lots of trigger snatching, but
managed to clean the target. :-)
I expect lots of perfect scores because there are a lot of good
shooters here.
Someone asked what my rifle looks like.
Here is a pic that gives you the general idea:

I thought I would do an easy target for Christmas, so don't get to excited it's back to normal next week.
The trouble with an easy Target is that you think this is easy, and relax, then you miss.
I'm away for a few days so can't shoot until Saturday.

You forgot to post the image of your target. Sorry, that will disqualify you for not having an image posted. |
