As a Mack tradition when our kids were younger… each year we made a special Christmas Tree Ornaments… Well since the kids are all grown… it’s just me and the wife now…

Here is my contribution for this year’s tree……

125 Cal. Pellet Christmas Tree Ornaments...

1 Hollow point, 1 Hunting point and 1 Wad cutter

No more sweat lodge and peyote buttons for me. I can see visions in the polished steel.

O.K., so let's say they weigh 1/4 pound. A 4 gauge lead ball would by definition weigh that, but maybe a little less in steel. Then again, maybe a little more because it's a pellet and not a sphere. So let's use 1/4 pound as an approximation.

If that little rascal were to fall out of your pocket, it would only have to fall 8.65 feet to reach a velocity of 33.28 FPS. That velocity and mass gives 4.3 FPE.

That means that these pellets could make it illegal to wear pants without a P.A.L. in Canada! (At least whenever you climb a ladder to decorate the top of the tree).

Right now in Minnesota it is -4 Deg. F. outside, and Canada is even farther north (I was awake that day in geography class). I wouldn't wish skirts on any of them right now.

Try not to get jealous now, but tonight it's -30C (~-22F) here, and only -42C (~-43.5F) with the windchill. . . . .
But it's Winterpeg, so it's a dry cold. . . . . Mr. Green

You guys are killin' me - LMAO!
Just to clarify, it'd have to exceed 4.2fpe and 500fps, before requiring the wearing of a skirt. . . . . . Laughing
