I was asked... so here is the proto... Please excuse the "Plumbing Hardware"... I have not had time to spin the final piece... besides... I wanted to shoot it... I have a 3.5oz baby bottle coming for it to go a little more compact...
There will be two variations of the mounting parts that will replace the brass plumbing "Hardware".
One will set the tank in the same position as it sits now, just a bit tighter... the other will be like a fore grip on a paintball gun and run the tank just below the grips parallel to the barrel. Both will clamp to the barrel much like scope rings to prevent twisting... The mounts... will have a 1.8k psi burst disc and will be HPA ready...
Fun time... I will crony it tomarrow afternoon... Yes... I hogged the valve on this one...

| How's it feel for weight balance/control? Does the add-on stock/butt pad contribute alot to it balancing well with the 3oz tank in the middle? |

That is a 9oz on it... I just ordered the 3.5 today... It's coming from back east... The 9 is abit heavy but with it slung back... It's okay...
Even with the larger tank on it... It feals kinda cool like a fore grip on a paint ball gun...
I was shooting after dark with the flood lights on the targets and had very little troubles hiting the 40 yard target with the Red Dot...
It's balancing on it's butt... ha ha... |

| I love it... I never trusted pressurizing that thin tube. |

I heard a bad story about someone trying to pressurize the stock tube with 1400 psi on a HPA system and it grenaded... Thank God no one was killed…
1/4" Brass Pipe... That should do the trick. The ends are spun from solid brass not cast…
The whole system including the ASA is ¼” NPT then stepped down to 1/8” NPT coupler to add direct volume to the valve. |

I had my 2240 set up with a dummy 12g and a minicocker ASA.
The vertical regulator was set to ~500 PSI to limit the velocity to 500 fps.
The balance was alright with a 20oz anti-syphon tank under the stock like that, just a bit heavy though.
Then it dawned on me. . . a vertical tank does make a good monopod. . .
It's a littel heavy as a pistol but if you've got it "benched" and are just shooting over a chronograph, it's fine |

Wow! The fun will never end like that- shooting from a bench with a Chrony!
Sadly, that may be the most fun for some of us if one is making mods and testing them. |

Just finished two of the uprights today...
The 9 oz. is for another 2250 project and the 3.5 oz. baby bottle is for my son's 2240 Custom Christmas present.

How about pointing it to the front and adding a nice wooden stock?
A bit like the BSA S10 perhaps?
Fat carbines turn me on. |

These are just the first mounts...
Hey Broom...
One like that is on the drawing table... I just have had zero time to do any wood work...
I have a part that should be here Monday that might just do the trick depending on the off set... |
