Here is the problem, and this is not gun problem, because this happens on two different guns.

Basically, with this cope in question, if I zero it at 15 feet and then take and shoot the gun at 50 feet, the pellet, instead of hitting on target, or bellow target, hits above target. That is, picture a target at 50 feet, and picture pellet hitting above the center several inches.

Whereas, with a different, good scope, pellet hits bellow center, just like it should due to pellet drop.

It's not gun problem, mind you. Because this particular scope does it on two different guns, while a different scope acts normally.

I wonder what it could be? Could it be related to Nitrogen inside the scope? Because this 4x32 Center Point scope has a nitrogen port on it.

This trajectory is perfectly normal.... Shocked

Even at just 500 fps, with a scope 1.5" above the bore (typical), if you zero the gun at 15 feet, the pellet will be ABOVE the line of sight out to 100 feet or even more, depending on pellet choice.... Depending on whether you are using flat, pointed, or round nose pellets, and depending on the velocity, the pellet will be anywhere from 1" to 3" high at 50 feet, if you accurately zeroed it at 15 feet.... Rolling Eyes

I would need to know the approximate velocity to give you more accurate information, but try this: Now that you are "on the paper", re-zero the gun at 50'.... you should now be between 1/4" and 1" low at 15 feet.... Wink

What is truely "odd" is that you have another scope that doesn't do this, on the same gun. . . . .

Sighting in, or zeroing at 15", should have you shooting high at greater distances, unless the gun is shooting really, really slow.

Think of it in the extreeme. If you zeroed your scope at the muzzel ( you can't, at least not easily or practically) you'd hit high for all distances greater than point blank, until the pellet arced back down to be on the line of sight again. In my humble opinion, zeroing on 15" feet isn't far enough. If I zero my scope at 33' (~10m) my gun shoots high at ~30 yards (~100') too.

Like I said, what's odd is that you have another scope that doesn't do this, on the same guns. . . . . .

On my Diana 34 .177 I usually take pot shots at about 11 yards.

When I shoot at targets out to 35 yards, I usually hit higher. I atribute this to an imaginary line from the croshairs in the scope, pointing at a downward angle to the target. And then an imaginary line going straight out the bore, to the target. At (given distance) 11 yards, they line up perfectly, at 20 yards, the scope line will sit lower on the target.

This should happen with any other scope. Given that the gun is powerful enough, and the pellet light enough for a flat tragectory.

Evidently the previous "good" scope was not zeroed at 15'. The other posters answered your question about first scope mentioned.
