How close can you really get to squirrels for a kill shot? I get within 10 yards sometimes. I was aiming at one closest to me, in front of the pack and it went through the target animal's head, out at an angle, through the one behind and to the right of him's abdomen, out at yet another angle and through the last one's throat. Anyone with a high powered .22 PCP could of acomplished it as they were thick (130+ rodents). Like shooting fish in a barrel. Or, you can easily stalk them. I observed this all the time back in my bowhunting days.
