I wasn't going to bother with a silencer for my Umarex Winchester 94, but after using it most days in the back garden I figured out that although I have very good neighbour's it's not fair inflicting the crack of a Co2 air rifle on them each day.
The Umarex Winchester is not the easiest of airguns to fit a silencer, because the end of the barrel consists of the barrel itself an outer shroud a aluminium barrel end which screws onto the barrel and tightens up the shroud, and to finish off a plastic end cap which plugs into the aluminium barrel end.
After a bit of thought I decided to remove the plastic end plug which leaves a hole 12mm in dia x 10mm deep, so making a steel barrel end cap with a 1/8 Gas thread through it, this was then plugged into the aluminium barrel end and Locktited in place, a very short silencer that I made for a pistol which did work very well, was tried and found to be excellent. So job done, and everybody happy.

Cheers Broom
I didn't really want to put a silencer on it as I thought it wouldn't look right, but it's not to bad and it does add a bit of street cred.

Is that the latest accessory for the "stealth cowboy"?

Johnny Wayne now gets the bad guys and the Indians early in the morning as they climb out of their tents? Razz

It doesn't interfere terribly with the overall look of the gun- which is a real bonus!
