I'd like to walk in there:

Me: "Hi, I'm looking for some paddles. What do you have in the way of that?"

The excited clerk: "Well sir, you've certainly come to the right place!"

That's a good laugh. Mr. Green

Actually, Winsum (where I live) has a motto which "freetranslation.com" translated accordingly: "canoe town pre-eminently".

That somehow sounds Borg.

I was going to draw one of my customers a map today. It would have a flowing body of water running north and south titled "sh!t creek". To the north there would be a "you are here" arrow. Then there would be legend or key which depicted all the little icons and what they mean. One would be a little boat which was the canoe. Some others would be trees, mountains, roads, etc. All of these icons would be present on the map with the exception of the "paddle" icon, which would be shown on the legend but not located anywhere on the map.

That would be my visual illustration of that customer's particular circumstance.

Nice!

At least now I know where to find more tools when I'm up the creek next time.

Hillbillies, banjos and rivers make me very nervous these days. Especially with Mr. Roger about... Mr. Green

Do Foothillbillies count?

You have to live just over 2k feet in elevation to count as a hillbillie...

I am only at 1.3k... Shrug
