Hey guys I went to a garage sale a couple days ago and picked up a 760 for 10 dollars. It Shoots great and was wondering if I could take out chipmonks to around 15 yards with a well placed head shot.

You got a deal for sure. But- I don't think a 760 is capable of making a head-shot on any small critter at 15 yards.

I've had several very accurate Crosman, including a 760 that I took many squirrel with. Some are accurate, some need work. Try shooting some groups from the distance you want to shoot at, and try 5 ~ 6 compressions with Crosman pellets. Used to work a charm for me, oh so many years ago . . . Twisted Evil

Good luck- obviously your 760 falls on the better side of things. Of course, having been found at a garage sale- maybe it's an older, somewhat better quality model than the newer ones found out there, I don't know.
