just found this site today, and figured i'd introduce myself. i'm 33, live in north western florida, am a motorcycle mechanic, and just recently got back into air gunning. moving slowly with my purchases, as the "mrs" has already frowned at some of the prices, guess i am not capable of having inexpensive hobbies lol.
i recently acquired a Beeman RS2 .22 cal. and a crossman 1077 Co2 rifle.

Welcome to you from the frozen north! Well, maybe not as far north as some of our Canadian members, but welcome just the same.

Well, Welcome to AirGunHome.com !

People from all around the world hang around here- but many of the non-English as their primary language don't post alot.

We'll talk about just about anything/everything, but like to keep the insults thrown at each other to a minimum (or nonexistent). No real "taboos" on airgun topics here- just that people have reasonable manners.

How's that Beeman RS2 working for you?

dummyracer,

There's a reason women don't want you to have expensive hobbies.... because they are one already!!!

I remember conversations with ex went like this...

"Why do you need more then one wrench?"

"why do you need five different tweezers and three different hair dryers?"

"That's different..."

But seriously, they're worth it. Can't spoon a tool chest. (And if you say you can I don't wanna know HOW you happen to know this!)

May I call you racer? Somehow dummy and motorcycle just doesn't fit ... well not for long anyway.

Could North West Fl. be anywhere near Bradenton? (sp?) When ever visiting Florida the wife and I always feel most comfortable there. I think its both location and the people - mighty nice & hard working folks there!

I don't own any CO2 airguns, all mine are springers so far.

I'm new here myself, but this forum looks like a friendly and informative meeting point for airgunners.

Regards,

Amigo

Jax.... you sure your ex isnt my current?? lmao.... i have that exact convo weekly. lol

the Beeman RS2 has been wonderful so far (only 500 shots fired so far). i have read many reviews and reports on it and seems there are 2 out there being marketed as the same model... basicly a bad one and a good one... so far i'm thinkin i have the good one.

as for callin me Dummy... its up to you, its been my nickname since i was 12.. damn now i feel old...... anyway, i almost consider Dummy to be a "term of endearment" lol

racer,

Mebbe they're related!!! Heck I use to refer to "her bathroom" (men don't get one), as the "chem lab". Often teased her, "no wonder women live longer, you're better preserved and you're poision us men to death with all that stuff!"

Welcome to the airgunhome.com Amigo, you should have spoken up sooner!

FYI, these folks are great, when I came in about a month or so ago, I was really down and out. Thanks to the encouragement from them and some good advice I've been able to keep meat on the table here at home.

(pppsstt managers? we really could use a sub hunting forum for posting recipies, I've found some really good ones!)

Recipes... Hmmm...

This software doesn't allow for "sub-forums" unfortunately- but maybe I'll get working on something soon...

Just a sticky in the hunting section would do, wouldn't it?
