I have a Beeman Sportsman Series Model 1100 .177 cal. I bought it new about a year ago. No matter what I do it shoots left 4-5 inches at 15 feet. The scope does and the iron sights. I put a shim by the action and inside the sope ring. I have the scope adjusted all the way rite and still shoots way left. Anyone have any help or ideas on how I might get this shooting straight?

5 inches to the left at 5 yards! You have to have a bent barrel or something. You could probably just look at the rifle and see what the problem is if it's that dramatic.

Worse case scenario you can get a mildot scope and use one of the horizontal mils as your aiming point, so long as you're able to get the vertical adjustment set proper. It beats "eyeing it" and just guesstimating by aiming to the right four inches.

An 18" barrel would have a 1/2" muzzle to breach miss-alignment if that alone is the problem and readily apparent as Roger mentioned.

Have you noticed any crescent shaped lead fragments at the breech? If not,
have you done the Q-Tip test at the muzzle to check for bore (land & groove) burrs?
Also, have you checked to see if the muzzle crown is square with the centerline of the barrel?

A muzzle only .005" out of square across a .177 bore calculates out to 5" in 177", just 3" shy of 15'.

I'm new here myself and hope I can be helpful. Regards,

Amigo

The Beeman 1xxx series rifles are their Chinese-made lower end product. That being the case I would check the barrel crown first, as Amigo suggested. If it turns out it's not centered, you can repair it here: http://www.airgunhome.com/agforum/viewtopic.php?t=15

But 5" at 15' got to have a bent barrell can't you put a str8 edge along the barrell and also on the pivit block and check the gap is costant all the way down the barrell.
I will post a pic of one of my B11 barrells brand new stra8 out of the box

LOL...Yer its a bit grim when you aim at a bunny and knock a
sparrow out of the sky instead.
The barrel is str8 its the breach block that is not bored true
so I have to bend the barrel to make it str8 "shoot str8 any way"

Hi..That little wood benders quite qute.
I was thinking more along the lines of a couple
of vee blocks in the bed of a 120ton press break "jokeing"
Have a small broching press for keyways will do it just nice.
Because it is going to be bent after I straighten it I was thinking of
boreing the breach end to take Gamo shot shells. Should make a good Quail gun
