I proved today that you're never too old to do something really stupid! I set up several cards of paintballs at 35 yards to shoot at with my FWB 300s.
Came back in the FRONT door, went to the familyroom to shoot from inside thru the slider at the paintballs. I have a really good position from in there and shot from there yesterday "one shot one kill" all afternoon. Well today my shots were all over the place I couldn't believe it. Checked my scope settings, sight picture, everything-----nothing improved my accuracy. In frustration, I got up to go out to look closer at the target. As I neared the slider I realized that I had not opened the screen door. I'd been shooting thru the screen but I was so far into the room I couldn't see it! No wonder my shoots were everywhere. They were going thru the sceen first! My wife gave me a week to repair the screen.

That's a good argument for walking the projectile
flight path.

And I thought the guy who shot out his window was bad.

I've done stupid stuff like that before. When I first got my TF67 I wasn't used to how high the scope sits on it. I was also shooting out of my window (it was open and I removed the screen!). There was a 3/4 inch high border of solid metal around the window and instead of resting the barrel ON it, I made the mistake of resting it directly on the sill. When I shot, the pellet never seemed to reach the target. Sat back and thought about it for a moment. Then I noticed a mark on that metal border and a mangled peice of lead nearby. I had shot it point blank into the metal but fortunately did get any blowback or do any damage to anything.

Just goes to show you ALWAYS have to be aware of what's in your line of fire.
