What I have;
Beeman 1073 (RS2) w/ adj. trigger

I like the style, weight, handling, size.

I don't like the noise, twang, and banging. Seems a good tune-up would help this greatly, But,,,,, nobody does. Crying or Very sad

Thought of getting it tuned, but it seems parts are scarce or just near impossible to get. So far, nobody wants to try and tame (tune) it.

Would be nice if I could match this up with something simular but better quality(?) (ie; tunable).

Being left handed, it seems to narrow the field. Also strongly prefering a wood stock narrows it even more.

Any ideas on what I should be considering as a upgrade?
Not much to look at locally so it's difficult to match.

Also wondering about something like a RWS 350. Being at almost 3 times the cost, would it feel tuned in comparison?

...you will never know. The Beeman you are looking at is cheap because it is a chinese gun. Easy to tune, but the results are iffy. The RWS is expensive because it is a German gun. You get what you pay for. If you look around the net, there are many articles on tuning a gun. IF you can rebuild the brakes on your car, you can tune a spring gun. The only special tool you need is a spring compressor. You can do everything else with simple hand tools. If you want a powerful gun, look at the Walther Falcon. It is made by Hatsan in Turkey and in 22 cal...look out! I shot a 25 call last week at my friend's shop and he clocked it a 767 with Kodaik pellets, one of the heavier pellets. I am thinking of getting a 22 (rated at 1000 fps!) and tuning it down to maybe 850 fps. Here are some links to STUDY to gain knowledge:
