Can someone please tell me about the issues with TX200 compression tubes.
I have one thats damaged and when trying to buy a new one was told that it will take 2 months to get one,if that soon, Think I can fix this one but still curious as to issues with these. Shocked

I have a tx200 and have had no problems with it, but 23ib0d0n was on about these problems a while back but didn't say what they where, he will probably be around later.
What is the trouble with yours?

What I've read is the chamber walls might have a taper. A taper toward the breech causes slower velocities, while taper increasing in size causes piston seal problems and very harsh firing behavior.

A machine shop can ream the taper out of the chamber, but then the piston and seal must be sized accordingly as well.

Paul Watts still works on Air Airs springers, so you can always check with him. Problem with mine is rings and spots in bore of tube, finally performance started to fall off, so got a kit from Jim Mcarrai when installing seal I noticed that the tube was rough. Now since I polished the marks out and reassembled
the gun is consistant but not quite as fast, lost 60 fps accuracy is great as usual. Even when it dropped 200 fps it was still accurate, just lobbing those kodiaks. Hoping that when it gets a couple hundred more pellets thru it that it will pickup some more speed. Originally it would shoot 10.4gr kodiaks at 831
with a deviation of 3 that was awesome for springers I`m used to.
