Last saterday I went to the Things that Shoot show down in Ohio.I seen things there that I had never seen before.real old BB guns, antique pellet guns, rubberband guns, cork guns, sling shots ,,,you name it it was there.!
It was well worth the 97 mile drive to go there.
But it did cost me a ton even though the entrance price was only 2 bucks.
That was just enough to really get my air gun addiction into full swing.
9:00am First I made a quick pass to see what the offerings were.I could not believe my eyes.I had about $800 on me because I was hoping to find a brand new HW97 .20 cal in Blue Laminate stock, but it was not to be.A little bummed I went to my second choice ,a .22 cal RWS Stutzen, none! but a very nice Gamo Stutzen in near mint condition,I looked a little more now around 11:00am and found a dream rifle I'v always wanted The One and Only
FEINWERKBAU 300S (or as some call it a) FWB 300S.Very nice shape for its age and the price was just about right.
Before I left for lunch and to think things over I had to go over to Pyramyd Air and see what they had to offer,sh!t there it was!!! A brand spanking new .22 cal Benjamin Discovery Kit (pump and all) $339.00
+ 10% show discount, well you know what I did don't ya?? Yep-er it is here. And I still havent opened the box yet!.Been so busy playing with everything else I havent even thought about it that much.I think it's going to be a little loud around here anyway.
To make a long story short I ended up buying 5 air guns.
#1 .22 Caliber Benjiman Discovery kit.
#2 1979 .177 Feinwerkbau 300S
#3 .22 Caliber Gamo Stutzen
#4 .177 RWS 5G(P-5) Magnnum Pistol
#5 .177 BB,Pellet,Dart 1010 Marksman pistol $5.00 Hey! I like those things.LOL
Now try and hide that stash from Ma-ma! So far so good. She see's so many around here she does not know when I add to the collection. He he he.
Ok,, I don't have a picture of My Disco or of my Stutzen but I borrowed a shot off the web.
Shoot often and have a blast!!!

Hope to see some home made pics soon Bob. And off course a thorough review of the Disco and the Stutzen. |
