Hello: Was wondering if there are any other "Sorter-of-Pellets"/"Sorter"s on this Site?
I happen to Sort; regardless of the brand/type, as there are some bad ones in every Tin.
My most recent project involved a Tin of Daisy .177 7.8-grain Precision Max Wad-Cutters.
These particular Pellets had a lot of fabrication lead dust, so I went ahead and washed them in some Dawn Dish Detergent, rinsed and then oiled.
For me, there was a nice difference in over-all Pellet performance and Accuracy after I decided to start sorting.
imho, helps to make every shot count.
I know it sounds tedious, but I actually find it relaxing.
Wife hates to see me throwing away the bad-pellets...sees it as a waste of money...of course, Lol!
Anyway, just wondering how many others out there do the same.
Happy/Safe Shooting! |

Hello from Mass. USofA I Wash, Sort, Weigh, Head size separate, Lube(Krytech) every Pellet I Shoot in Bench Rest, and Hunting. Makes a big difference in My Shooting. The ones I cull out I use to Lead in the Barrel after Wet Cleaning use Krytech to wet clean and not to mix Chemical's w/Lubed Pellets. Your not Nut's, maybe I'm a little Anal about it but it work's for Me. Next gota try the Yarrah Roll.....Franky |
