Yesterday was a very good day.... I limited out on Franklin's (Spruce) Grouse (2 males and 3 females) and got my first Snowshoe Hare.... On the advice of moltogordo, when we first saw her she spooked, I stopped the Rhino, got out, loaded the gun and waited.... A couple of minutes later she got curious and came out to sit on the road again.... One headshot and it was all over, the range about 30 yards.... I skinned and cleaned her on the spot and my wife is going crazy searching recipes.... It looks like a traditional Hassenpfeffer is in our future.... I have the hide stretched and salted, along with the feet....
