I just received my Leapers 3-12x44AO Accushot SWAT Rifle Scope, and I have a problem. The side AO Turrent (pictured and circled below) simply won't turn at all, straight out of the box. I don't want to force it or use a tool on it, but there are no HEX sockets or anything so to unlock like the W/E turrets to turn. I have contacted the retailer, but I am still waiting on an answer from them. I really don't want to go through the hassle to return this, but if anyone has a Leapers out, and/or have experienced a similar problem, please let me know.
Not the most expensive scope, but at over $100, well, yeah.
Thanks!

Try pulling out until it clicks and see if it will turn then maybe. |

Tried per your suggestion and it's definitely not a pop up, EZ turret.
Thinking it's like my other Leaper's with the front reticle AO adjustment which was seriously tight right out of the box, but moved, and after sitting watching some varmit hunting videos while just rotating back and forth it loosened to what I liked. Might have to soft-cloth-n-tool it so to nudge.
Thanks though! Much appreciated!

Yep, Robw, that was it. I took a pair of electrician's pliers which has a rubber insert over the teeth and gently rolled it forward and it moved! Spent an hour with it rotating to infinity down and back and now she's perfect. Not too loose that it may move during the recoil of a magnum air rifle, but loose enough than when sighting, I can rotate the dial easily.
Thanks all for your help! Very much appreciated. Very happy that I signed up with this forum.
