I just thought I’d post a some photos a friend called Gary sent me the other day, it’s his latest development of a side lever pistol using a 1377/1322 Crosman base.
The bolt probe is reversible from .22 to .177 and the barrel is interchangeable, this is the first pistol I have seen using this method.

The problem I have with sidelevers is that I generally don't like how they look on rifles or pistols. For some reason it just needs a good ol' bolt action... I kind of like the idea though. |

I like the idea of the easier cocking of the hammer.... otherwise I prefer a bolt action.... Beautifully done, though....

Here are some more photos of the 2240 lever cocking pistol but now Gary has incorporated an M-rod 10 shot magazine, a very nice piece of engineering.
As you can see it is a completely different design to anything done before on a 1377/1322 .

That does look interesting.
I do have to ask, however, why is Gary always in bold type?

Just to point out that the gun is attributed to a guy call Gary and not me. Who incidentally has just joined the forum.

You sir have skilz
That is a very slick machine. I'm going to guess that most of that was done on a gun mill? |

is this "-Gary" in Ohio?
That hyphenated name is going to be a problem I suspect. |

I like it too! It is a pretty piece of engineering. |

Yes thats the guy.

Do you want me to get him to re-register ?

I sent him a PM asking him for a different username he would like to use- I can just change what it is- but he has not responded as of yet. |

I like it. Well done. Though for me, the bolt or lever should be on the left side of a pistol so you dont need to change hands. |
