food additives are evil- food is good. i learned from my high school science teacher that flouride was a by product of manufacturing someting awful like folrmaldyhyde (which is also in Everything- just think, we are being pre-embalmed!)- and they had tons of flouride and no way to get rid of it until they "discovered" that i "fights cavities"- of course young kids aren't supposed to brush with it because they might swallow it instead of spit it out- .....it's a poison.... wow this has become the land of digression- from shooting squirrels, to cooking, to chemistry.

FYI… Beware of “foods” that are “Enriched or Fortified”.

It’s code for “It did not qualify nutritionally to be called "Food" till we added chemicals and supplements to meet our F.D.A. standards”…

Everything's a poison (if you get enough of it), and it's not paranoia if they really are after you. CutItOut

My science background is a masters degree in criminalistics from thirty years ago. There I learned that qualitative analysis had gotten so sensitive and good even then that we could find something in anything. Quantitative analysis, on the other hand, tells you if there is actually a significant amount of something in anything.

Speculating about corporate/government conspiracies isn't much for aerobic exercise and may start out making you think you have become wise to the ways of the world. But in the end it's just speculation, and speculation of any kind has a way of ruining your quality of life.

Now you did it, Yourdaddyjoe. You might find yourself vacuuming
more rooms now that your significant other has better access.

I have been keeping the shop cleaner as the wife likes to shoot
her new 380 out there and as we all know, you just can't be very
accurate in an unvacuumed shop.

Keep low!

I hope she is shooting "from" the shop... not at you in the shop for not vacuuming...

Part of what I am working on is another ramp to get her access into the backyard to shoot, BBQs, ect...

One of the volunteers that has been coming over to help set things up for her is paralyzed from the waist down and is a avid hunter. He is really liking what I am doing with the range access and just bought a Gamo Whisper to come over here and shoot.

Now he is looking at the Twinmaster... show off...

When grain is milled (germ and bran removed) the vitamins are removed
along with the bran. There is a thin layer between the endosperm (middle)
and bran that contains most of the vitamins that are needed for proper
utilization of the carbohydrate (the endosperm). Back in the 30's they
discovered that people who regularly ate stripped grain developed a
a condition called Beriberi (from lack of thiamine and other B vitamins).
So our government made it a law that any stripped grain had to be
fortified (usually with synthetic vitimins).

This solved the Beriberi problem, but opened a whole new can of worms.
When no fiber (it was removed with the bran) is consumed with grain,
the gummy endosperm has a hard time making it through the intestines
and you have spots that adhere to the intestinal walls and ferment and
release the carcinogens (cancer causing agents) that form polyps and
eventually the intestinal wall develops cancerous spots.

What does all of this mean? It means that very few people have your best
interests in mind when they offer a product. It's best to read labels and
keep up on what is being offered by the big food machine.

"....and it's not paranoia if they really are after you."- this is one of my quotes to live by old pa- and kudos to you daddy joe for all access shooting- shooting really is a sport that can be persued for a lifetime- and ADA acccessability is the key- here in WA they have ADA fishing access, and last time i checked, you didn't even have to buy a license if you were disabled. any thing that keeps people involved in life, and breaks down access impediments. the ADA has been a God send- but so many people just don't Get why it is important- back when i was a bus driver, a guy who was opening a tattoo shop was complaining about having to put a ramp on this old house he was making into his tattoo shop- he even said "it's not like someone in a wheelchair is gonna want a tattoo". boy did i give him an earful- we are all one false step while cleaning the gutters or one doctors visit with tests and bad news from needing to use a chair. live every day to the fullest- you just never know- esp if you are eatin all that chemical crap and such.
