We seem to have a number of feral cats around here, and my new Gamo Swarm Maximm just accounted for two of them today. .22 cal version, using Super-HP pellets. Dropped them on the spot with chest shots at about 10 yards. Mr. Green

No idea where you live (how rural, nearest neighbour, etc.).... but when it comes to any feral version of a domestic "pet".... my advice would be to follow the "three S rule"....

Shoot
Shovel
Shutup

JMO....

Very rural area....I live off the dirt road that's off the dirt road that leads to a secondary highway that leads to the main highway!! Three "S" rule is ok, but these are all cats that people have just dropped off out here in the sticks because they didn't want them. Cats (and pigs) go feral very quickly and are a real nuisance, especially when you have dogs, like I do. They also are known rabies & distemper carriers, as well as other diseases...I'll shoot them on sight and law enforcement has no problem with that....go hog hunting with a bunch of them. Some do-gooder organization has a problem with it they can tell people to take their damn cats to the pound instead of dropping them off in the sticks!! BTW: Nearest neighbor is a good 1/2 mile, and he shoots them, too! Mr. Green But thanks, for the heads up anyway..'preciate it.
