Thanks for the add. I have a 5 year old grandson. I got my old bb and pellet guns out and started fixing them. I will try to introduce him to safe shooting. I have a daisy 25(missing parts), crosman 180, daisy 881 old style and a cheap Chinese b3 or something? I put new seals in the crosman and need to do the same to the 881. I will probably try to find something reasonable in a 25 caliber. I will be asking some stupid questions so be prepared.

No question is a stupid question (ok, some questions are stupid questions- but they're pretty hard to come by in the airgun world most of the time)- kidding.

Welcome to the forum! No such thing as stupid questions. A B3? It's cheap out of the box, but has almost a cult following as a project gun. A Daisy Model 25? Made since 1914, it is the American BB gun. (The Red Ryder didn't get notoriety until the movie "A Christmas Story.") The Daisy 880 series guns also have a loyal following. Have fun with them.

Thanks, I hope my grandson will learn the right way to shoot. I used to shoot cans with the b3 and they would not move and it is accurate. I got the 180 and the 25 from my father in law. They were in his basement. They are a bit crusty, not the 180 I cleaned it up and cold blued it, not the best job but a lot better than rusty.
