This Sheridan is probably my favorite airgun in my small collection, I bought it new in 1977 and have shot many squirrels with this oldie but goodie.

The pellets are about half full, I bought these pellets when I bought the gun but I liked the Beeman Silver Streak pellets better(at least I think that's what they were called), I'm sure glad that I held on to these old pellets.

Same year as mine. On many the color of the pump handle didn't match the rest of the stock, but yours looks nice.

I remember seeing them like that, there were two friends that bought the exact same rifle at the time and they had a heck of a time finding a good looking match.

I also have a partial yellow box of the Sheridan cylindricals. Now I mostly shoot Benjamin cylindricals, simply because they are available locally. There are other choices on the internet. Granted, not nearly as many as in the other calibers, but more choices than we had in 1977.

I have my original-condition Blue Streak. Cannot exact year of purchase but I "think" it was around 1962-1965(?). Started loosing velocity after many many boxes of pellets. Was unable to get her refurbished, so she sits in my rack and serves as a reminder of my youth.

Any recommendation as to where I could have the old girl overhauled/repaired or whatever?

Mac1 would do it right. If you are mechanically inclined, Pyramydair has a kit with the seals and a valve removal tool. Either way, it will propel you back to the '60s in short order. Mine is from 1977, and I resealed it a couple of years ago. It shoots just like I remember.

I too have a blue streak and it does have a bit of a mismatch on the stock and fore stock . . Still one of my favorites . Over time at flea markets ,I've picked up a couple of Slavia's and some early Daisy lever action rifles . . . But I'm always on the lookout for another Blue Streak .
