Hey Guy's, I just became the proud father of one of these babies in .22 cal., I bought it a couple week's ago but I'm just getting a chance to pick it up from buddy this Friday. I've heard some good thing's about this gun, apparently it was stopped being imported into the US for some reason??,anyway's,,if there are any owners outhere, let me know what you think of your gun. I was thinking it's just another variant of the B4-1, or the B4-1 is a variant of the KL-3B, it get's a little confusing with these "chinese" guns sometimes LOL. I did manage to get a little info on my own, I found out it's now made by BAM and sold by XisicoUSA http://www.xisicousa.com/kl-3b.html , so I guess I'm lucky to have a "new" old stock still made by Norinco. I know it's going to need one hell of a cleaning since it's been sitting in an sealed plastic bag filled w/ oil for years,,anyway's guy's let me know of your gun's, Andy. |

Don't know anything about the KL-3B- but Norinco and BAM are now the same place- so everything is likely to soon be alot more similar.
I also understand from a 'player' in the Chinese airgun world who shall remain nameless that there is very little stock of any of the lower-end Chinese stuff (through BAM, Xisico) available right now- seems someone miscalculated or forgot to place the new order in time to have it delivered before January/February to North America. Found this about by trying to source some B2's and B4's the other day... |

Andy,
I want to be perfectly honest with you. When I look at your proud collection of airguns, I can't seem to figure out exactly why you bought those guns at the first place. You don't sound like a guy who is into DIY airgun projects, so perhaps, IMHO, you should stop acquiring those low-end guns and focus on what you already have - either make them better or get rid of them. |

So, I take that every gun in your proud collection there is hair-trigger. Not a problem I'll stay away. |

I wish I could get you some info on the "fast deer" but I've only come across one or two references in the past. If your general opinion on Chinese airguns are good, I'd say go for it. In many ways, buying a Chinese airgun is almost always a gamble.
By the way, I am also planning on getting myself a Chinese airgun and see for myself how bad they are. While on it, 2RCHA, have you ever seen/held a QB88/TF88? I think Xisico is calling it a different name, but I have no idea which one it is and it's quite confusing because this person says its the b3-2 and the other one calls it a b4-3 or whatever... |

Here's a link I've found for almost every airgun maker in the world, http://acooper.cl.tripod.com/fabricas.htm , It's interesting that when you compare the different models that are made by the "Chinese" Factorie's, they're all similar, and different all at the same time, , Andy
PS,,,,Turn your POP-UP Blocker's on, It's on one of those free hosting sites. |

So- whatever happened with this Norinco? How did it perform? Any more information on this Norinco KL-38 "Fast Deer"? Was it fast enough to shoot a deer? |

While you guy's are on the subject of low end guns I thought I would add my 2 cents worth.
I see no problem with 2RCHA's air gun preference's.I have a blast with that little XS-B3-1 AK47 lookalike. It is accurate, and was fun to tune.Very cheap to tune I might add.Its alot better than the old Daisy's I have, may be a little under powered the way you get it but that can be fixed in one day for $8 dollars.
My grandson who is 13 likes to come over in the summer and shoot with me.All he had was a Daisy Buck which is a piece of sh!t shooting at 30 ft..
I tryed to order him a Industry Brand B3-1 from SouthSummit for a Christmas present. After 2 weeks of checking my order and seeing order pending I called them.OUT OF STOCK.A friend of mine told me about this Cummings tool place that sells the B3,so I checked them out.
Heres the deal $19.95 + $12.00 shipping.I called them to make sure the had them, sure enough they told me we got a ship full they bought a whole freighter full last Nov.Thats why no one else has any,and they must have been real cheap with that amount of units. If they can sell them for 19.95 and still make money. It will be here next week and so will the $8.dollar tune kit from SouthSummit.
Here is the link if someone wants a $20 dollar B3-1.

Hey Guy's,,,and Eric ,The "Fast Deer" is Fun to shoot, and I really like the side-cocking action, but I don't know what I was thinking about when I ordered it, I've alway's been "Monte Carlo" stock man, and I can't get used to the stock on this Norinco, it's too damn ugly for me,,Once I sell it, I'll be getting the QB-88, at least in my book's it look's a hell of a lot better, Andy. |
