Building a silencer is no big drama...and they don't need to be bulky with pose appeal .....Never seen a critter impressed by a big silencer yet ...only uninformed people.... First, off- suppressors/"silencers" are not some "hush hush" big freakin' deal around here. This is a worldwide airgun forum, and in most places around the world a suppressor is not a "problem" but is in fact expected of gun owners in order to be more considerate to their neighbors. You can find posts here on how people have constructed their own suppressors- where they are legal of course. If someone flat-out posts an illegal entity- i.e. as in someone in Canada posting about constructing a unit (in Canada they are flat-out illegal for anyone to own, excluding military and specialized police-only use), or someone in the US without the appropriate BATF permit for one they are posting pictures of- this is a problem. That being said, the simple discussion of suppressors and techniques for constructing them are not verboten around here. _________________ ` I'd say "I care." But I'd be lying.
