Hi ...
I recently inherited an old Crosman 38C revolver (plastic rear sight) . It had an empty genuine Crosman CO2 cylinder in it .
I bought a box of cylinders (not Crosman) and tried to install one , but when the cylinder is pierced , the gas leaks out in a few seconds no matter how tight the screw is .
It sounds like it`s leaking between the cylinder and the piercing assembly . I checked the parts lists and pictorials but I don`t see a seal in there at all ....... it`s just a metal to metal seal as far as I can see .......
I noticed on the original Crosman cylinder that the top of the cylinder is crimped around the edge about 1/8" or so , and the ones I bought are smooth .
Would not using genuine Crosman cylinders cause this ? |

| I looked at the exploded parts diagram, but couldn't determine, based on that, which part is the seal...but I'm certain there is one. If you still have it, check the top of the old CO2 cartridge (I believe you said it was in there when you inherited it?). There may be a dried-out, flat piece of seal stuck to it there. If you call Crosman they may be able to help. |

I took it apart , and the seal in the part that the top of the co2 cylinder fits into has a seal just under the piercing pin . The seal has a crack in it which I`m sure is the problem .
Anyone know where in Canada I might be able to get a seal ??
TIA
I believe the part # is 38-126 |
