| Well, you know putting the "Sheridan" name on it and adding a steel breech and nickel bolt handle is worth 3x the price of what 'Crosman' 2260s sold for a couple years back ($69.99 plus $40.00 breech plus $20 bolt handle/bolt= $199.99 !?!). Wow. |

| Strange, I went to Crosmans web site and can't find the Sheridan 2260 listed. They still list the Crosman Heritage 2260 though. Maybe the Sheridan 2260 is an early April Fools joke from PA? |

| More likely it is something built solely for a couple vendors- i.e. PA and maybe Dick's or such. Eventually, Crosman would typically release it for sale everywhere (assuming it proves to be sellable). |

The more I think about it the less I like it. The Sheridan name is worth more effort than a steel breech kit installed on a 2260. Hell, I already have one of those....
Looking at the pictures again, they did fix a cosmetic issue. They extended the tube to fill up the stock. Image #7 is a good picture of it. http://www.pyramydair.com/s/m/Sheridan_2260MB_CO2_Rifle/3409# |
