OK over the last few days I've been reading about the Beeman P1 air pistol.

Not withstanding the high price tag I want one. However I don't have anywhere to shoot this, so it would spend much more time in my closet then being used.

I would also want the carbine stock for it, but it seems no one is producing them anymore. Why?

I'm also looking at beeman's P3 and P17 as well.

How hard is it to cock these pistols?

They cock with a bit of a "push" near the end of the stroke- i.e. built-up pressure. If you weigh 90lbs or such, probably more of a pain than it's worth.
