Hello, mates! Didn't want you to think I'd forgotten you: just been so busy the past several weeks with work, the holidays, working around our old house to get it ready for sale, our annual Battle of New Orleans reenactment...just haven't had time for the Forum or for getting out with the air pistol. Neutral

But, I've been there in spirit, and hope to get shooting actively again in a few weeks. Smile

Jim

Hey all, great scores so far!

Man, you all got me worried! Those scores are making me question my abilities! : 0

Last week, I shot so poorly with my new Talon that I didn't even submit the score! Bummer! I guess it'll just take me a while to get used to shooting with a scope! Everything just bounces around so badly!

I like shooting with my Avanti rifle with the open sights, but the light colors of this target make it almost impossible to see the target!

So this week will be the Talon again and the IZZY 46m... The IZZY is the only thing that I really have a hope with!

I'll submit on Sunday probably...

Talk to you then! Very Happy

Hi guys, back in the competition this week after problems with flu and the computer.
So this week it’s the Rohm Twinmasters turn.
Here’s a tip for any one shooting a pistol, the problem is holding it steady while taking the shot, well I have been toting 10lb of TX200 around for the last month, some bench shooting but quite a lot of field target as well, and what with cocking and carrying it about it must toughen up your arm muscles, because my Rohm now feels as light as a feather, and as never shot so well.

Anyway here goes.

Date 23-1-08
Start 11.50, finish 12.01
Gun Rohm Twinmaster .177
Sight Walther MRD
Pellets Bisley Pratice
Weather Sunny 8c
Range 5 meters
Standing, two hands.

Score 160/180

AL

Very nice shooting AL, too bad you missed a couple big pointers though I think you get one more point for touching the black.

I was hoping my 240 classic would show up this week but now it doesn't look like it. Guess I'll have to close my eyes and see what I grab as a rifle then. Rolling Eyes Razz Won't be the Slavia though as that one is having surgery at the moment.

OK, I give up on rifles! I can't shoot them worth a hoot!

I'd better stick with pistols. They are the only thing I can halfway shoot!

Here is the target:

Stats:

Gun: IZZY 46m
Stance: Standing, one hand
Pellet: RWS Match
Time: 6 mins
Score: 114/180

Thanks to all.
