Hello All,
New forum member, but, long time air gunner. Lots of experience ... still a poor shot, and aging eyes will only make it worse. If you see me at the range, stand in front of me when I am shooting ... it is the safest place! |

Hi Tom,
I like the new projects that you were showing off at the range this morning. I have been shooting more in the last three weeks than in the last three years. I have been getting Tom W. to get out there to at least observe a little. Thanks for pointing out this forum this molrning, it looks interesting. I tend to read much more than I type on these sort of things and once in a while I have something useful to add to the pool.

No! Thank goodness, I don't have the snoblower mounted on the Wheelhorse yet. But, back in 1991 we had what has become knoown as the Halloween Blizzard. I lived 8 miles out of town and no power for three days, temperature inside the house was down to 33 degrees F. No well pump working, no electric stove. Broke out the sleeping bags and cut some wood for an old wood fired cook stove in the basement that we had never used before. Had fresh cookies and baked chicken. When the power came back on, the furnace ran for 18 hours without a break to get to 50 degrees.
It could be any day now though. The last snow we had was on May 11th and about a foot here. It won't be long now. |
