i recently got a daisy 880, while its not as powerful as my springer i've come to enjoy shooting it as its accurate and pretty fast, i chrono'd it at 690fps with daisy pellets and i'm getting nearly a dime size group at 25yds. i thought of getting spare parts, such as seal kit, valve's, extra arm, pump head seal kit, ect. when i count all the things i think i may need later and add shipping i'm up to $30. with a new gun only $40 at wal mart, what do ya'll think? get the parts already out and ready to install or get another gun and use it for parts? i know some may say wait till it breaks, keep it for parts then get a new gun. but i think i got a good one with its accuracy so i want to keep this one going. thanks for any help.

Unless you think Daisy is going to stop producing the gun in the near future- why not just wait until you have a problem, then either get the part(s) or purchase another?

Having a collection of parts, 'just in case' for an inexpensive gun seems a bit of a waste.

The only spare parts I have is where one of my air pistols died and now it's spare parts for the other one. I bought a p10 and liked it so much I bought the c11 tactical. WHen the C11 died I switched all the tactical parts to the p10. THe only difference is the slide. One says c-11, one says p-10 phantom.
