I am wondering what people find to be the best airgun trigger?

'Best' could be defined as smoothest, good range of adjustment, crispness, overall 'feel' or even cosmetics.

This does not have to be a stock/factory trigger- but something with modifications- I am just trying to see what people find to be the best, no matter what it's from or how customized.

Rekord Trigger. Did not even realize until I got the whisper out and started shooting. The smoothness of pull was not there and I would jerk when I thought gun was going to shoot but didn't. I would compare power steering to standard. I drove standard steering and thought it was fine until the 1st power steering rig.

As a newbie I don't have the technical expertise for a better explanation.

Okay- to be more specific- the "why" you believe a certain trigger is the "best" would be useful- without this it's just a list of random triggers.

I like the Marauder Trigger.... It is a very adjustable two-stage design, and the drop sear effectively separates the hammer spring preload from the trigger pull.... With the "lawyer spring" removed it can be adjusted down to a few ounces....

I like the AirArms CD trigger which is a copy of the Weihrauch Rekord (Rekord-CD, get it) Shocked

, very smooth and crisp break and totally adjustable, a trigger by which others are judged.

But of cause if you are talking class then my design of two stage trigger for the Crosman 2240 is unsurpassed. Cool

Not airgun related- but I just bought a Savage model 93 .22 Mag with the accutrigger, and i gotta say....

this thing is awesome Smile

The best trigger I ever had was on my .22 marlin glenfield. It had a smooth as ice takeup, then it broke like glass. I was only 14 when I got it, so I didn't realize how good it was. My dad always borrowed it though. lol I just realized how good a trigger it had about 10 years ago. It was a lever action like a winchester model 94 and it even looked like a miniature 94. It's even better then my schultz and larsen 30.06. And that was built by one of the best gunsmiths in the state. My dad has all these guns now that I am not allowed to own them, but I just can't bring myself to get rid of the little .22. It spoiled me on triggers forever. lol Everything else I have fired seems crappy compared to that one. It's 30 years old now, and it has been taken apart and cleaned several times, but it is still just as smooth as ever.

The accutrigger is the cheapest mainstream 2-stage trigger on the market. These days, just about every single Savage features it. You can adjust it really light, and it always breaks crisply and the same way. I love it. After shooting my Titan, the difference is just night and day.

my hw-55 with record is very nice. ive owned it since new 1969 and ive yet to adjust it. its the 1 I use when I want total accuracy. on another note the volqsteen accurazation kit I put in my ruger mark III pistol is a great trigger too . like 1.3 pounds pull. it is a tackdriver after I put it in

Well, if you want airguns only, I've never shot a good trigger on an airgun, but I only have experience with my own. Best out of what I own would have to be my Beeman Elkhorn with the RS-2 trigger, but it still isn't even close to par with most powder burners.

If you've never shot a old 10 meter match rifle ,,,please try one.
The triggers are so sweet I always have to warn new shooters about the trigger.
They are almost a think and shoot trigger,if you touch it while aiming in most likely it will send your pellet down range.
The Rekord is nice but no-where close to a FWB match trigger.

Try one ! I promise you'll love it.

Yes Al quite a difference,I still own and drive the Smart car.
I have to be very careful when passing another vehicle when driving the Shelby.
It can get out of control very quick when unleashing all 625 ponies at once.
The supercharger sounds like a jet engine when winding up.Very cool to the ears and to be in control of such a powerful automobile,even with 10"x19" (front) & 12"x20" (rear) Goodyear F-1 tires and electronic traction control it has a serious lack of traction problem!

today I got a fwb 300 s and its a fine trigger . only shot it 10 times but first shot got my undivided attention
