Wadcutter, I agree with AirgunEric!!! I would put 50-100 rounds through it to see if the scope will hold up. Does Hawks have a forever warranty? |

Have a look below. I have used Hawke Scopes for many years on all my guns, and have sent scopes back on two occasions and each time they have repaired or replaced them, one was three years old with a broken cross hair this was replaced with the latest model, and the other was a jammed adjuster which was my fault, on this occasion they freed it off reset the adjusters refilled it with nitrogen and sent it back for free.

Bushnell Banner is the best <$100 scopes I've ever owned. Its a 1'' scope. If it will hold up to a 30-06, an air rifle should be no problem. |

Hawke has a lifetime warranty- but I believe the US location is more of a 'distributor' than they are the actual company Hawke (which is UK-based).
That being said, I am a fan of the Bushnell products, but would lean more towards the Legend line vs. the Banner. |
