I purchased my first air pistol last week, it is a Crossman 2240 went thru about 150 shots, open sights are not going to cut it for my senior eyes, was looking at the New 2013 Truglo Red Dot Sight 2x42mm 2 Power Scope 2.5MOA TG8030B2
any thoughts on this scope, only reason i looked at this scope is because it is 2 power, and most of the time i will be shooting on paper at 10m if anyone has other suggestions on any kind of sight which I may like better please do so,

| Welcome to the forum! A red dot sight will be a nice addition to your pistol, and will be easier to manage. You will have to either get a dovetailed "breech" (receiver) or a dovetailed intermount (barrel clamp). There are a couple of sizes of dovetails, so be sure the optics you buy match the dovetail size of your mounting system. |
