The gun now will not fire even with a fresh C02. I took it apart and and found no pellets jammed. Does anybody have any ideas what the problem may be. Does the mechanism "click" but it doesn't sound like gas is being released? 2. Does it sound like gas is being released, but the pellet doesn't come out? 3. Or maybe the mechanism doesn't "click" at all? If you unscrew the CO2 capsule slightly, does it hiss? On 1 the answer is yes, on 2 no, on three the mechanism clicks i am able to pull the trigger and see the hammer hit the pin and if i unscrew the c02 slightly it does hiss c02 is being punctured when tightning air temp was about 80 degrees and no the capsules were not stored in a hot car   Posted: Wed Jul 03, 2013 2:54 pm oddtodd Silver Status Member Joined: 30 Dec 2008 Posts: 2029 Location: Richmond, IN USA I know this is going to sounds like a really stupid question, but it's not ment to be. DO you have it on safe? It's probably not valve lock due to excessive pressure from high temperature. I would try some Crosman Pellgunoil on the valve first, to see if it loosens up. Next I would take the gun apart and inspect for anything loose or misaligned. Look closely at the valve - check for anything like a nut threaded onto the valve stem that might have loosened up. If that doesn't work I would go inside the valve to inspect and clean. There is a guy in arizona that fixes my model.
