Does anyone have the Airgun Blue Book?

I picked up a very early Crosman Mark I at a pawn shop today.... If anyone has a SN Key... I'm hoping to find the production year and a value.

SN 0118xx

Gun in Excellent condition, no leaks and is a tack driver
Box shows wear with taped corners
Manual and Notice in the box

The pawn broker took my first offer of less than 1/4th the current price for one on gunbroker.com

Joe, I have the 2012 Blue Book. Can't help with the serial number but it says it was made between 1966 and 1980. $150 in 100% condition, $130 in 90%.

cheers
Rob

Thank you Rob.

Kim at Crosman says it's a first variant.
The SN back then were only for warranty reasons.

I would put this one at 99% due to a couple of very minor imperfections and give it extra points for the original box and literature.

Considering what I paid for it... I might flip it here in the US if the offer is right.

It held Co2 over night and I'll keep checking it daily. Shoots straight and with authority. I should run it across the chrony.

Nice find! I've had my hands on two of those they are great pistols. I did pretty much the same thing with the first one I had, got it at an estate sale. I played with it for a while then sold it on Gun Broker. One of the few air guns I made money on.

The way I normally do it is buy high and sell low. Embarassed One of my better scores was a box of 20+ air guns for $30 WooHoo! until I had to pay the shipping Shocked $90...... I ended up making a dollar or two when it was all said and done, It was great fun resealing all those air guns. It was mostly Crosman pumpers. I have one 766 left from that bunch that I'll finish some day.

Is this a good pistol? I have had one for a very long time. I never fired it much. Mostly because I just never had the cO2 cartridges. . I have not fired it in thirty five years.
Any suggestions before I do? I had no idea it was worth so much money. I think I got it for my birthday when I was ten.

Classic and sought after.

Co2 Check, 11 days and still holding.

My mistake. I have a Crosman Mark 2. I tried to put a co2 in it and quickly found the O ring in the plunger is solid as rock and leaked. I put a pellet in it and it fired. I will try to fix it

You have a very high quality gun there. I am pretty sure the seals are still available. Is it leaking where the CO2 cart punctures? THose are pretty much the same as now. You should be able to search either here or on the internet on how to fix it. GOod luck!

Thanks you.
It leaks around the threads at the base of the grip. Very obvious. But there are probubly less obvious leaks elsewhere.

I found reseal kits from 15 to 22 dollars. I will post up the results of my repair attempts. Very Happy
