Years ago, maybe as many 30, a friend of mine demonstrated his fwb 124.
After that I knew I had to have one. It was the most accurate gun I had ever shot. My friend and I shot air guns for years. He bought an fwb 300s and I later bought an fwb 601. After he passed away I put the 124 in the safe and forgot about it.
Recently, because of the price of ammo I pulled the 124 out of the safe and tried to shoot it. It wouldn't even blow a cleaning pellet out of the barrel. I sent it off to airgun-werkes in Tennessee. (I got that name from this forum and am in no way connected to this company.) That was in February. It came home in April. WOW! It shot like new. I put a Beeman blue-ribbon armored scope on it that I had also had for years. After sighting in, it will make 1 hole groups at 10 yards. (well almost 1 hole, actually a group under .12") Boy was I happy! I had been contemplating buying a PCP gun, but since my shooting is mainly backyard Sparrow hunting I don't think I need a new gun.

| they are becoming a pricy gun in good to excellent shape. i had my eyes on 1 but somehow it slipped away . glad you got it back up n slingin lead |
