I have a Daisy Mod. 35 and the manual says it can shoot .177 pellets as well as bb's. Are there special pellets designed for a smooth-bore or can any type be used in .177 cal. |

Just regular airgun pellets. |

I have a smooth bore barrel that I can put on my 1377 to shoot BBs with.
I have found that Pellets are not very accurate in it, but are extremely
accurate when I have the rifled Lothar barrel on the gun.
I have also found out that BBs are not very accurate when shot out of a
rifled barrel (not my new Lothar barrel though), but their accuracy improves
greatly in the smooth bore.
I have no answer to as why, but I speculate the the rifling must get the BBs
bouncing around in the barrel. |
