I have an old slavia 630 model 77 that is in rough shape but shoots perfectly and is very accurate! I was just wondering if a pellet gun in this rough of shape is possible to restore (remove all rust/ sand and restain stock) Also how exactly would i do this ? if possible to remove all the rust without taking off bluing, how would i do this? Any opinions or help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I've seen worse condition rifles restored to as-new condition.
Hopefully someone will tell you a good way to go about it, I think a re-bluing of the metal maybe in-order. A Slavia 630 is definitely worth restoring.

Look up the term "electrolytic rust removal"- this is, based on my experience will all sorts of rusted crap, the best, and least labor-intensive way of doing things. There is no way you are going to get that rifle looking good without losing all of the rust and the existing bluing- which this process will accomplish without causing pitting or scoring as would using some other method- i.e. sandblasting or such. Just do not reverse the Positive and Negative contacts or you will disintegrate the rifle.

Re-staining a stock is basic woodwork- sand and re-stain.
