Looking at Crosman's M-177 and the M16 look alike spring piston they are releasing, I was wondering if anyone makes an air rifle thats looks like an AK-47.

That's is not the one that are modifed from real AK's is it? I remember reading some years ago that some air rifles were imported made from full auto AK receviers. And so the ATF declared them to be "machines guns".
If that in the pic is legal where can I get one?
How did the homemade in the second picture get put together? |

I have no idea of its legal status in the USA. I know an older version was banned from import, but I dont know about the current one. Since you are in the USA, why not buy a real one ?

I used to have a real one, but I had to sell it. Didn't even get a chance to shoot it. 
The Yunker 4 may be more useful to me since it's easier to find a place to shoot it. |

The homemade version, what air rifle is it made from?
How hard would it be to make a Crosman 1077 to look AKish? Reading about ZipSnipe's 1077 bullpup has given me some ideals. |
