I like the way this pistol shoots but HATE the way they put it together. Definitely a hard pistol to take apart and put back together.
Still need to add a flashlight to it.
Maybe down the road make a stock for it if I get bored

Looks great Zip! How hard was it to change the barrel? If you are going to put a stock on it, you should get a foregrip for the lower rail. I will probably get one of those that also doubles as a bipod to put on mine. You should also have some more power with the longer barrel. I think they are rated at 550fps. Pretty hard hitting for a BB gun! |

It was hard but doable. This is not the easiest gun to take apart. I was going to turn a barrel brake on my lathe but this one was only a few bucks.
Yeah I am looking the one grip it splits open into a bipod.
But that's down the road I have ordered myself to cease all toy purchases until I get caught up on reality!!!! |

Wanted to update this, the gun shoots like crap now. Before I changed the barrel it shot pretty damn hard but now I could toss a bb by hand harder than this thing shoots.
I was very careful when I put this back together as I did not want to take it apart again.
I really dread taking this apart to fix it . Crosman got a D- for this gun's construction. |

Man that sucks! It should be shooting harder now. I wonder if something went wrong when putting it back together. Might be leaking somewhere. |

My P10 is the same design. The DA only trigger moves the whole barrel forward slightly against a spring. When it releases, the breech end of the barrel scoops up a BB and whacks the valve. Depending upon how you modified it, it's possible that the additional mass isn't being accelerated enough to open the valve fully. If that's the case it means removing mass from the barrel, installing a heftier spring, or shimming the original spring for more preload. On the downside, more spring also means a heavier trigger pull.
Another possibility is that the barrel is binding within the brake.
I was disappointed that my P10 came out of the box with rust on the outside of the barrel, and that it had burrs that prevented reliable feeding. Since I corrected those problems it has been a fun gun to shoot. I've been in and out several times - it's complicated but doable. |

Lol Zip! It's like the story of your life dude... Could it be the Harbor Freight o-rings are just a little different in size from the originals and that's why you have leaks sometimes? Just a guess. I hope you get that thing fixed, it should be a beast! |

ATF oil on c02 tubes , a couple of Crosman reps said would be fine and I agree.
Yeah went to work on it yesterday and decided before I take it apart to fire to make sure all the c02 had leaked out and BAMMM !!!
Fired like it was supposed to, loaded a clip in it and fired one off in the courtyard through my target box hit a nail head on the otherside which ricocheted everywhere .... |

Awesome!!! Sounds like it's working how it's supposed to now. And yeah Zip, you need to wear shooting glasses when using BBs! I always forget till I get hit in the face! Then I put them on |

I think it may be the way the co2 cartridge gets pierced.I bought a fresh c11 yesterday and it shot great for the first 2 cartridges, but the third one started having issues. The first shot would be powerful, but after that, as you mentioned, I could prob throw a bb farther. Then the next cartridge it shot fine again. The one after that I had the same issue with weak shots... so I slowly loosened the co2 until I could hear it hissing, then tightened it back. Issue solved. |
