Hi: I have a RWS LP8 air pistol...Really great pistol, by the way, and very powerful...I would like to put a scope on the gun, probably low power (4X most likely), but I am concerned that this powerful air pistol will destroy just any old scope due to the unique airgun type recoil...Does anyone have a suggestion for a scope that would hold up to this pistol and not self destruct? Thanks for the help...

| Check out a Hawke, Centerpoint, or Leapers. They make scopes tailored specifically for this use. I have a center point, and I am astounded at how shock proof it really is, given that I dropped my gun down a staircase, and it seemed like the scope hit every step. It shot perfectly afterwards, and I was hare-lipped. |
