I've read that ambient temperature is a pretty important consideration with PCP rifles, but how about a nitrogen-piston design? Is there an appreciable difference when shooting at, say, 95 degrees versus 75 degrees (fahrenheit)?

I ask mainly because I seem to be seeing a difference in vertical POI when shooting the gun while it's cool inside my house, as opposed to after it's been out in the Texas heat for a while.

20*F isn't going to cause a noticable change in POI from the pressure inside either a PCP or a gas-piston gun.... However, if you leave your gun out in the Texas sun, it could be a LOT more than 20*F.... Even so, a more likely culprit is the lubes in the gun reacting to different temperatures....
