I have a BSA red dot and I noticed that you pretty much need to have your head in the same position every time in order to aim it correctly, is this the same for all red dots?

No, tends to be on only the lower-end stuff you find this. This is not to say it can't happen on higher-end products as well, but usually you have to be quite a bit more sideways for it to become noticeable.

Yeah looks like no matter how close I get the red dot tuned in, if my head is not in the exact position it won't matter if its tuned in or not. I think I will move the Red Dot off the bullpup and maybe get one of those compact scopes

looks similar to the red dot scope you got Ern. I guess I need to get used to it. I do have it on the bullpup. I am heading out to my buddy's place again tomorrow and try to set up the scope again.

I haven't had that issue with the BSA or the Tasco I have. But I did find that problem with a red dot reflex sight. Man that thing was crazy. I couldn't get the hang of that one. Takes a little to get used to the red dot sights compared to scopes but they work really well once you get used to them. Glad to hear your 1077s are up and running again. Post pics of that bullpup with the sight dude!

Accuracy is based on consistency! Velocity, pellet weight and diameter, temperature, atmosphere pressure, humity, largest factor being operator consistency.

Pistol shooting is much different from rifle shooting, since pistol don't allow you to make contact to the firearm with your head. So the angle is which you look threw the scope or dot changes constantly. Small diameter lens helps a bit, plus optic systems with minimal parallax are a must. But it's just practice, practice, and remembering those things you did that achieved the accuracy you desired.
