| So, has anyone here swapped out the stock air tube on AA S410 carbine for the Classic tube? If so, did you have to use the factory o-rings or do you know the size for local purchase? I also could use the part number or size for the breech seal, ).22 caliber) for local purchase.thanks fo any leads/advice. |

Thanks..that one's much clearer than the one in my owner's manual...it's called the barrel seal (S538) I've already ordered 2 from PAG, but that's in Cal., I'm in GA. so wanted something to work until I get the exact replacement......
Made some phone calls, and had to drive 30 miles to an " ol' timey Mom/Pop" hardware store.....they literally have everything in there...In a HUGE slide out drawer of o-rings, I found 1 that SO FAR has worked like a champ...it's a #4.7...and NO that's not it's metric size...next size up is #5 and WAY bigger , and the next one down was size #36 and it was ridiculously smaller so I know it wasn't in metric sizes Anyhow..I posted this to let others know, in case they run into the same situation, what will work.....they cost me $0.15 each...
I signed up on that forum...don't know how I missed that list.thanks for bringing it to my attention |

I tried a #4 and it was definitely too small. Didn't want to bother with searching for an oring locally so I called Pomona. What a helpful guy. Instead of charging me 5$ for an oring plus shipping (pyramid) he offered to drop two of them in the mail on a business card and just asked me to send a couple bucks back.
Shops like that make air gunning so much more fun. |
