Not a very good shot of the Webley, may try to get a better one later.

Thanks. I planned for that one a while before I could get it. They don't make it any more. They also used to maker a Diana Stutzen that was even better looking, but was also much much more expensive.

What scopes are those?

Which would you recommend on a low budget?

I got a Mendoza 322 which is sweet with a unique old school feel.

As far as I know all the Stutzen models have been discontinued. I tried to find the Diana a while back and searched the word Stutzen and they all came up everywhere as "discontinued".

The Webley also isn't made anymore. This is one of the last Webley's made in England before the company sold and went out of country. I don't know if the new owners make the Stingray or not.

The Stutzen and the Webley both have variable Winchester air rifle scopes. Not real expensive. The Falcon has a Walther variable with a lighted reticule and adjustable parallax.

These are the most expensive rifles I own I guess. Along with my Hammerli 850 in .22:

(the other rifle is a Crosman co2)

I don't know what you mean by budget. I have Crosman Quests in .22 and .177 and a Winchester in .177:

(the other is a Daisy multipump).

As springers go the Quest isn't a bad rifle I shot it for a long time before I could get the more expensive models. I found I could keep good groups with it (I have them sighted in at 20 yards).

I also have a Chinese rifle that shoots hard. I don't like design as I always feel I could lose my fingers (you cock the bolt back and load the gun in front of it). On the plus side you can take it down into 2 pieces and carry it in a backpack and it loads a magazine so you can shoot several times by simply cocking the side lever.:

Hope that helped.

Loving the Stingray.
Big fan of Webley rifles ( as regular readers of this forum may know ).
Also too, big Gamo fan.
Just wondering, have you chrono'd the .25 Walther ??
I was looking at buying a .25, but I cannot find a Patriot to sit beside my .22 version.
I know from reading countless forums .25's can have their pit-falls if the MV isn't high enough, I.E. Gamo Shadow .25.
Are there any numbers you can post to make my decision easier???
Cheers

Never checked it. I know I use light .25s. I like Beeman Lasers but you can't find the blasted things any more!. I keep looking. I've still got 3 cans (and some Mosquitoes which are also discontinued) stockpiled though.

The Stingray is a tack driver, but it doesn't shoot as hard as the Falcon.

It's a Tech Force 66. I'm having trouble finding one. I don't know if they still make it. I found a Tech Force 67 which is like it but is a single shot. The 66 uses a magazine. It fells a bit..."plasticy", but it just keeps on working.

I also have a Tech Force 6

Chinese rifles have a bad rep with some shooters and as I mentioned I am very careful when loading in front of the heavy bolt. They feel a bit "shaky" I suppose is the word. Inexpensive with inexpensive materials. They come stuffed with a heavy lub. I cleaned a lot out and it tends to cause the guns to smoke. But as I said, they just keep on shooting.

I haven't tried to take any pests or small game with them, just targets. But so far they shoot okay.
