| Been thinking of buying a castrated PCP rifle for indoor fun and the odd outdoor pest but I have concerns about the sound levels. I plink with my Alecto using one pump, which allows my son to sleep while I play. The hatson seems to be affordable and nice so I'm curious! Thanks |

| AT44 for indoor use you will & your son will need either hearing protection, or something to muffle the sound. It is a nice affordable piece, but its close to 22 rimfire loud. If noise is an issue, why not consider a lower powered springer. |

Mod can you dial yours down to 500fps. That would give you the sound level that he will hear from his.
That would be applicable "castrated" version sold in Canada |

| Mod90. Thanks for the suggestion, I do own a few springers/gas ram benjis but the hold sensitive things gets to me after awhile. |

I thought of detuning it down to 500-600 fps to increase the shot count, but that would mean a loss in downrange energy retention and right now it's my go to piece for small/medium game hunting & pesting. So that wouldn't be a long term option unless I get another gun, & if I get another gun the wife will give me hell.
For what it's worth Airhead, I love my springers & still shoot them whenever the opportunity presents itself. Yes they are hold sensitive, but that's what improves your marksmanship overall. |

| Mod90. I love the break barrels but I miss the feel and convenience of my powder burners so I thought PCP would be the closests feel. |
