You interested in the 8.44gr Exacts? |
They shoot very well in my Vantage 1200. I'd trade for some more of those if I got anything you want. Problem is, after I looked over my stuff, I wanted to keep almost everything.
I have some .22 cal. RWS Superpoints, 14.5 grain I'm not super enthusiastic about in my guns. I'd have to count, probably 80-90% of a full tin left.
(We should really move this to the trade thread)

I like the 16 gr Predators a lot, and the Exact Heavy 18.1 gr- both in .22.
I'd be willing to investigate others in the Exact .22 line...

I give all my new pellets a bit of a field performance comparison test after I see they if shoot accurately. A really basic preliminary comparison involves shooting them into clay (actually, 4 lb block of plumber's putty that has been softened somewhat with the addition of oil)...and pine boards, etc.
The 18.1 grainers look like they will perform relatively well in my springer. I tried the 25.44 grain Monsters and their penetration in soft material was the best by an additional 20%, but they were a just a little behind the 18.1 grain Heavy in the hard material test. I think the 18.1 grain is a great compromise combination for hunting when you don't know if you will hit only soft tissue, or bone/skull too.
For the discovery with its higher velocity, the Monsters are my 1st choice. |

I use JSB Match Diabolo Exact Jumbo Heavy .22 Cal, 18.13 Grains. JSB's are so consistent that they are almost impossible to beat. Experimenting with H&N Field Trophys right now to see how they stack up! |

If Polymags count then add those to my list. The only thing I feed my 1100. And so far the same goes for my 397 |

I shoot JSB Exact Jumbo RS for all my target shooting needs and use predators for hunting, in all my guns! |
