Need a little help on how to connect a Benjamin Dicovery to a 20lb. Co2 bottle. I need to connect up to four guns at a time not sure if it can be done? If anyone can help with any info please do.

| Looking for a continuous connection. The guns will be shot off a bench. Looking to have the bottle under the bench with lines run to each gun. Would also like the guns to have the guns connected with quick connects so we can remove them and add them when we need too. This rig wil be used on a commercial air rifle range that we run at the shooting school I'm an instructor at. We have 1500-1800 kids/year ages 6-13 shoot on our range. We are tired of filling the 2.5oz Co2 tanks in the Avanti guns we are using now. |

You should go to a welding supply store/office- they can provide you with the primary connector (shutoff) for the Co2 tank and a "bar" with plug ins for each hose. You would then need to attach hoses with a female paintball-style Quick-Disconnect connector (these have a 1/8" NPT thread on them to connect to a hose) to the male connector on the Discoverys'.
The problem we have here is that the "bar" with main shutoff and shutoffs for each line will have connectors that are not meant for paintball-threaded hoses- so you need to get such a "bar" with appropriate adapters to connect a paintball-style hose (using 1/8" NPT threads). Once you have these, all you would need would be hoses and some connectors- which you can buy from just about any paintball supplier online. |

I just thought I'd add something to the mix...
If you look up manifolds on McMaster Carr, they have a four port unit with a 1/4NPT in, with 4x 1/8NPT out. Part number 5975K11. they have others, depending on your needs.
All you need afterward is the right hoses and fittings and to ensure you have shut off valves at the tank, and/or at each station. So long as the hoses, quick disconnects and fittings are over-rated, you shouldn't have a problem.
You can also use larger CO2 cylinders than the 20 oz bottles, which would likely be more economical in the long run.

You will also need a bleed valve to relieve the pressure in the lines before you can disconnect the Foster fittings....

Thanks for the help. I looked at a few manifolds that had 1/8 outlets. I couldn't find any 1/8 ball valves to close off the outlets that I wasn't using.
I've build my own for now out of brass gass fittings. |

Make sure all parts including the valves are rated for at least 1500 psi safe wroking pressure.... CO2 can run that at 100*F.... If you are inside and climate controlled you might get away with 1000 psi parts....

You're on your own for high pressure air lines. As Bob stated, make sure they're rated for at least 1500psi and make sure they're reinforced if possible. Things like lines get stepped on, tripped over, and cut for the strangest of reasons. If you can, have the air lines drop from the ceiling and terminate at the valve at each station.
Check valves will ensure that if a line is cut upstream there's no backflow to whip the line both ends of the line around (just coming from the tank), and the only pressure you lose is from the break upstream, not downstream as well, so the rifles themselves don't lose air if the break happens between the tank and the manifold.
Your line from your tank should have a shut off at the tank. The manifold "in" should have a shutoff just in case, and each line should have a shutoff somewhere between the manifold and the rifle. I'd suggest that you have a sturdy line from the tank to the manifold, from the manifold to the valve at the shooting station, and from there, a flexible remote paintball line from the valve to the rifles.
Also, after you rig this puppy up, be prepared to go through a LOT of CO2... And send us pictures.
