I just noticed this new steel tipped pellet from Ultramag they come in 26g in .22 and 11.2g in .177.

It certainly looks like a skull cracker.

Those juvenile delinquents that walk down the street shooting out car windows are going to have a field day.

JDs already break all the windows they want with BBs and bats.

I think these are on a youtube video in slow motion trying to pierce an old car hood but I can't find the vid right now. Whichever ones they used were a failure as they flew sideways and tumbled end over end in the gun used.

On second thought, the ones that tumbled were plastic outside the core.

Some people just don't know when to leave good enough alone. And others think that without a gimmick, they can't stay in the game. Rolling Eyes
What game can I use these on? Ever seen a squirrel in body armor?

Who needs body armor?

The pellet does look nasty, but something tells me its not going to work so well in the real word application.

I doubt it will be more effective than good old lead. You get penetration, density and deformation all by using a cheap, common metal. Hard to beat it.

Yeah, might be good for boring through a thick skull but I won't be buying any. I'll make some in the workshop if I ever find a need.

When LEDs get cheaper, they'll probably have light-up pellets...like electric tracers. We're in the wrong business, you know? Laughing Laughing Laughing
