Mr. Mousy, can you hear me now? That red "tie" looks absolutely dashing with that brown suit. Twisted Evil
I've been a bit too efficient in my shooting. I haven't seen a mouse/rat in almost a year. So its a case of their all dead, or they got wise. Congrats. That's one sweet shot.

Trust me, they aren't getting any smarter. I wouldn't nail 20 or so a week at my grain silos if they could get smart. At least I HOPE they aren't getting smarter. They just might try to hunt me back. lol

Shows the power of a .22 pellet. 28 fpe from my MROD
is the same bloody result as 14 FPE from my B-26- same pellet.
880 vs. 620. Mr. Green

I guess the MROD is overkill. Laughing

Ya', I've done a lot of shooting this month. Mr. Green Faq-U

The local tree rats get wise to you if they see you shoot other squirrels or miss at them where they remember you and adjust their habits and it can get nearly impossible to get a shot at those. It can take half a year or more before they finally have a moment of being complacent where you can get a shot in and you better not miss when you finally get the chance. I suspect rats would be no different.

Local birds get wise to you too just the same way.

Absolutely...I had fun introducing a buddy of mine to "Adult" air gunning a couple weeks ago.Only thing he's ever shot previously was a Crosman 760 pumper. We went by my place, and picked up the Modded Disco.I swear I will never forget the look on his face when he shot a Predator Polymag,at around 850 fps or so,across the yard, and turned a Pepsi can full of water completely inside out...Pfffffffft..........Thhwokkk!...classic... Laughing
It was a great day shooting, and he's totally hooked now.He has a big back yard.....with LOTS of ivy,and he's had rat trouble,so when his wife, and mine are out on the town some night,we'll be on a covert rat popping mission..... Twisted Evil
He has a sliding glass door off of the kitchen, which is perfect..... Mr. Green
